Ada 274 judul sinetron remaja sepanjang 2007, atau 1.791 jam. Jumlah ini meningkat dibanding tahun 2006, yang menayangkan kurang lebih 172 judul. Rating sinetron bertahan di kisaran Top 20. Sambutan pemirsa pun sangat manis.

Tapi bagaimana dengan cerita sinetron tersebut?

Berikut saya cuplikkan sedikit hasil PENELITIAN POTRET SINETRON REMAJA 2006-2007 yang dilakukan Yayasan Pengembangan Media Anak (YPMA) bersama 18 Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia (Studi Ilmu Komunikasi). Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi terhadap 92 judul sinetron dengan 362 episode sepanjang 464 jam.

Frekuensi Adegan Kekerasan Sinetron Remaja 2006-2007

Kekerasan fisik : 25,14%

Kekerasan Psikologis: 41,05%

Kekerasan relasional: 10,97%

Ekspresi Kekerasan:

Verbal: 56%

Nonverbal: 22%

Gabungan: 22%

Motif Kekerasan:

Disengaja: 90%

Tidak disengaja : 10%

Fenomena yang terjadi adalah:

Violence is glamorized, ditampilkan dengan cara yang positif (dilakukan oleh karakter atraktif).

Violence is sanitized, disajikan dengan konsekuensi negatif minimal.

Violence is trivialized, dianggap sebagai hal yang remeh-temeh. "ya gapapa kaliiii!"

Yang menarik adalah pembicaraan seputar "nasi goreng"

Pembeli : Bang, nasi gorengnya kepedesan. Terlalu asin. Jangan dikasih vetsin, saya nggak suka. Jangan kasih pete atuh Bang, saya nggak suka.

Penjual : Enak aja lu protes! Jualan aye emang gini.

Pembeli: Lho, saya 'kan beli… wajar dong protes.

Penjual: Ya udah Lu bikin aja sendiri, ni wajannya, ni bumbunya…

Pembeli: Lho, Abang gimana? Masa pembeli disuruh bikin sendiri. Berarti Abang tuh nyerahin urusan kepada yang bukan ahlinya…

Hehehe… itulah analogi perdebatan antara pakar komunikasi dengan seorang profesional film, dalam seminar yang memprihatinkan itu…

Saya hanya berbisik : "Ya udah… mereka aja yang suruh bikin riset… Biar tau luka yang mereka torehkan kepada masyarakat. Dan tunggulah kehancuran, jika semuanya saling lempar urusan!"

Aku terima banyak banget komplain soal ketersediaan buku "Self Defense For Women".Katanya susah banget nyarinya di Jakarta dan Bogor.Di Melawai,Bogor,Kwitang katanya nggak ada.

Tapi herannya temanku dari luar Jakarta dan Bogor ngampang dapatnya padahal rumah teman-temanku itu jauh-jauh ada di Malang,Surabaya,Banjarmasin dan Yogyakarta.

Kenapa bisa begitu ya?Aduh soal distribusi itu sudah diluar kendaliku deh...Kata penerbitnya mungkin aja stok buku di toko buku di Jakarta dan Bogor bukannya tidak ada tetapi sudah habis terjual...Amin..Kataku begitu....Ya mudah-mudahan aja karena udah laku...He..He...
